Why is the recording time on the 'Message' page only 6 seconds?

Recording duration limitations and solutions

There are three solutions available:

Free Version Limitation

The free version of cloud storage only provides 6-second recordings, which can be manually disabled.

Micro SD Card Option

Installing a storage card enables automatic saving of alarm recordings. The default duration is 10 seconds, adjustable to 20 or 30 seconds. Users access these via the "Message" page, then select "Local Playback" in the preview section.

Cloud Storage Subscription

Subscription versions provide up to 30 seconds of recording. Recordings can be accessed through the alarm screenshot on the message page or via the "Cloud Playback" option in the preview interface.
