Why are there no recorded files on that day?

Understanding recording availability and date selection

If you see a message indicating no recordings for a specific date, it means no alarm events were triggered that day.

Finding Available Recordings

Use the calendar feature to locate dates with available recordings:

  1. Open the Local Playback section
  2. Access the Calendar view
  3. Look for dates displayed in a darker shade - these indicate days with recordings
  4. Select a highlighted date to view those recordings

Why No Recordings?

Remember, the camera only records when alarm events are triggered:

  • No motion detected = No recordings
  • Detection zone not crossed = No recordings
  • Camera in disarmed mode = No recordings

This is normal behavior and helps conserve battery life and storage space.
