9. Troubleshooting
Q1: Is the video doorbell battery-powered?
A1: Yes, there is an integrated Li-ion battery. Thanks to low-power technology, a full charge lasts about 2 months in our laboratory test environment (laboratory test conditions: 10 events per day, 15 seconds of video recording per event). When the temperature is too low, the energy consumption rate increases.
Q2: Does it support the legacy wired power source?
A2: No, it does not.
Q3: Does the doorbell support 5 GHz Wi-Fi?
A3: No, it only supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi.
Q4: How many wireless chimes can be added to the doorbell?
A4: You can add multiple wireless chimes to work with your video doorbell.
Q5: Does it support custom motion detection zones?
A5: Yes, it does. You can customize the detection zone in the doorbell settings.
Q6: Does the doorbell support cloud storage?
A6: Your doorbell supports local video storage via Micro SD card. You can also enable the free cloud storage service in the app. The free cloud storage supports 6-second video recording and a storage duration of seven days.
Set the path: Settings --- Cloud storage service -- Basic cloud storage -- Scroll down the page -- Tap to activate.
Q7: How do I install the Micro SD card?
A7: Use the supplied pin to insert it into the small hole at the bottom of the doorbell to remove the doorbell from the bracket. The SD card slot is on the left side. (The doorbell and the bracket are assembled together when you receive them.)
