4. Installing the Camera
Select height and location
Install the camera 7-10 ft (2-3m) above the ground. This height maximizes the detection range of the motion sensor of the camera. Avoid placing the camera directly facing sunlight.

Test the WiFi signal at the installation position
Use a cell phone to test the WiFi signal quality at the installation position before installing the camera. Make sure the WiFi router can provide a good WiFi signal.

5. Installation Method of Solar Panels
- Please install the solar panel at approximately 30-45 degrees from horizontal, as shown in the diagram below.
- The installation between the solar panel and the camera is illustrated in the following diagram (open the silicone cover at the bottom of the camera and plug in the power cord to the Type-C port).

Panel installation tips:
- Please place the panel in a south-facing direction with good sunlight exposure.
- Install the solar panel in an appropriate location, avoiding obstruction from eaves, tree branches, etc.

6. Connection Tips
- Both the phone and the camera must be placed near the Wi-Fi router, within a distance of 2 meters.
Friendly reminder: Please fully charge the camera with a USB cable before connecting. The camera can only connect to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signal. 5GHz Wi-Fi is not supported.
7. CloudEdge App Installation and Setup
Search "CloudEdge" on the App Store or Google Play to download the app — from Google Play, from the Apple Store, or scan the QR code in the booklet. The CloudEdge app is available for both iOS and Android.
Tips: Please turn on the 2 permissions below when you use this APP for the first time.
- Allow "CloudEdge" to access mobile cellular data and wireless LAN, or it will fail to add the IP Camera.
- Allow the "CloudEdge" APP to receive pushed messages, or the cellphone will not receive an alarm push when motion detection or an audible alarm is triggered.
